EF5 Tornado hits extremely close to my hometown

On Sunday, May 25, 2008 (Memorial Weekend) an EF5 Tornado tore through a small town about a 1/2 hour from where I originally grew up. The winds were clocked at 220 miles per hour. The strongest on the fujita scale. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of this terrible tragedy

Cornfed, I also thought of your family when I read about the floods in Cedar Rapids. I hope they're doing OK.

Huntington, Thanks for thinking of me and my family. Thank god, they are all ok. There is wide spread flooding all over the entire state and major flooding along three rivers. My home town is 45 minutes north of C.R. and on the same river, so they also experienced major flooding as well, although obviously not this bad, but there was flooding in the business district and in neighborhoods all over town.
